About Samara House
CYWA Samara House provides support for mothers seeking to overcome addiction through a caring six-month residential treatment program, authorized by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The center serves women and their children and is known for its “Mommy and Me” approach, which is designed to encourage healing for the mother while also strengthening family wellbeing. Treatment is tailored to each participant through a detailed biopsychosocial evaluation that identifies her specific strengths and needs. The recovery process follows 12-step concepts and includes counseling and family-focused services to help sustain long-term progress and improve family relationships. During residency, mothers and children are supported in a warm, structured setting that fosters healthy connections and equips participants with the tools and guidance needed for lasting sobriety and overall wellness.
