About Total Life
Total Life offers online therapy for older adults dealing with issues such as loneliness, major life transitions, anxiety, chronic pain management, depression, grief, OCD, stress, and trauma. The center’s team of psychologists and licensed clinical social workers understands how retirement, changes in living situations, and reduced mobility can increase stress and affect mental well-being. Total Life focuses on making support easier to access by providing individual, group, family, and couples counseling at times that work best for each person. Patients can also select from multiple therapists and request a switch if it feels necessary. Based on the diagnosis and the type of therapy the patient prefers, sessions may use approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.
Total Life accepts all Original Medicare plans (Medicare Parts A and B), most Medicare Advantage plans (Medicare Part C), and some Provider Preferred Organization (PPO) and other private insurance plans.
