About The Woodlands Serving Central Ohio

The Woodlands Outpatient in Ohio provides mental health treatment for adults, partners, and children ages 5 and older. The center addresses concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, abuse, and related challenges. Services are delivered by licensed Master Level Social Workers and may include individual therapy, couples counseling, and group therapy, along with medication-assisted treatment (MAT). At The Woodlands, therapists use evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational therapy, and strength-based therapy. The program also offers eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), a targeted intervention for trauma that supports clients in working through and recovering from difficult memories. Through these therapies, clients can strengthen self-confidence, better regulate emotions, and learn healthier ways to respond to everyday stress. In addition to counseling, The Woodlands offers supplementary resources such as case management, parenting support, and wellness education. The domestic violence program is designed to provide safety, shelter, and emotional assistance to survivors. The center also helps individuals who do not have insurance by providing funding options, and it accepts Medicaid as well as managed care plans.
