About Brightside Recovery Kent

Located in the heart of downtown Kent and close to shopping, Brightside Recovery provides care for adults and adolescents dealing with substance use disorders, including those who also have co-occurring conditions. The center combines medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with tailored one-on-one counseling and group therapy sessions.

MAT at Brightside Recovery may include options such as Suboxone, Vivitrol, Sublocade, and Brixadi, which are designed to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. Although Brightside Recovery is especially focused on opioid and heroin addiction, the program can also support recovery from other drug dependencies, including fentanyl and methadone, with treatment adjustments made based on the specific substance.

Brightside Recovery follows a harm-reduction approach, so care doesn’t automatically end after a relapse. Instead, the team works with patients to explore what led to the relapse and revises the plan to better fit their needs moving forward.

For adolescents ages 12 to 17, Brightside Recovery offers separate groups and a counseling style that reflects the developmental pressures they may face. The goal is to reinforce family connections and help support a smoother transition into recovery.

The center provides same-day appointments and telehealth services. In Kent, payments are accepted in cash only, and those using insurance can submit invoices for reimbursement. Naloxone treatments are provided at no cost.
