About Mount Carmel

Mount Carmel is a residential rehabilitation center in South London that provides 12-Step facilitation and group therapy for people dealing with alcohol addiction. The center’s multidisciplinary team is also able to support clients with additional substance use issues and mental health concerns, such as gambling addiction or drug addiction, but alcohol addiction remains the main focus of treatment. Alongside traditional therapeutic approaches, Mount Carmel offers complementary services including yoga, meditation, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, and equine therapy.

Mount Carmel additionally runs a family support program designed for clients’ relatives and loved ones. This includes family group sessions held twice each month. The center also offers free aftercare for life, including support groups on a bi-monthly basis, alumni social activities, and individual counseling sessions.
