About Your Recovery Counseling
Your Recovery Counseling (YRC) supports adults in all 88 counties of Ohio who are dealing with emotional difficulties, substance use, grief, trauma, or stress. The center removes obstacles to mental health and behavioral health care by providing trauma-informed services both in person and through virtual options. YRC offers individual and group counseling, intensive outpatient services, and partial hospitalization so each person can receive the right level of care and build sustainable recovery.
YRC is accredited nationwide by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is certified by OhioMHAS. It also maintains additional credentials from the State of Ohio and the City of Cleveland, including SBE, MBE, WBE, EDGE, CSB, FBE, LPE, and VSBE. These distinctions demonstrate a dedication to high standards, broad access, and fairness in behavioral health support for communities throughout the state.
Using a caring, research-based model, YRC helps clients address issues such as anxiety, depression, gambling concerns, and the effects of trauma. Licensed professionals provide evidence-based therapies, including individual and group psychotherapy, anger management, and stress management. Programs may also include psychoeducation, behavior change strategies, and recovery-focused support to encourage emotional development and lasting, personalized progress through trauma-informed treatment.
YRC’s services go beyond the counseling setting, offering grief support in collaboration with funeral homes and providing trauma-related services for first responders. The center also assists people transitioning back into the community from jail or prison through assessments, recovery coordination, and referrals for housing. With evening and weekend availability and flexible payment options, YRC helps individuals strengthen hope and purpose at every step of their recovery journey.
