About ShareHouse Inc
ShareHouse has been supporting people with substance use and mental health challenges since 1975. The center provides multiple treatment options, such as day programming (PHP), residential care, virtual services, and sober living. The residential program includes 87 bedrooms arranged in an apartment-style environment and is notable for its Treatment University approach, designed to ensure that each person receives care tailored to their needs. Housing is separated for men and women, and residents share common areas and dining spaces. ShareHouse also works with a range of payment options, including Medicaid, private insurance, and funding based on income for those who qualify.
Rehabilitation at ShareHouse blends evidence-based therapy with the 12-Step model. Clients participate in individual counseling as well as group sessions that address areas such as anger management, spirituality, shame during recovery, and gender-specific support meetings. This combination of evidence-based treatment and ongoing recovery principles aims to strengthen long-term outcomes, while holistic offerings—including spiritual support and wellness activities—promote balance for mind, body, and spirit.
In the residential setting, clients stay in gender-specific buildings with shared cafeterias and community areas. The facility includes private bedrooms along with a wellness space, an arts and crafts room, a game room, a computer room, and laundry services. Additional services, including spiritual care and culinary support, are available onsite to help maintain a supportive and comfortable atmosphere.
To help clients move toward stability after treatment, ShareHouse offers continued assistance through sober living residences. This support helps ease the transition from structured programming to independent life by providing routine, accountability, and a sense of community.
