The Emily Program provides specialized care for eating disorders, focused on ensuring that everyone can access evidence-based treatment and the resources needed for long-term recovery. The Emily Program offers care across the full spectrum, including 24/7 inpatient services, residential programs, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient options, and outpatient therapy, with locations and services available in multiple states. Patients can receive treatment in person or through virtual programs. A multidisciplinary team works with individuals, families, and communities to build the skills required to sustain recovery in everyday life.
Beginning recovery can feel overwhelming. The Emily Program meets patients where they are and supports progress one step at a time. Treatment is available in person and via telehealth for children, adolescents, and adults of all genders, with plans tailored to each person. The center’s focus remains consistent: provide clients and their loved ones with the most effective treatment and the best opportunity for success. Care is delivered by experienced professionals, including therapists, dietitians, and medical staff who address every part of this complex condition. Programming commonly includes individual and group therapy using approaches such as CBT and DBT, along with nutrition counseling and skill-building. Patients also work on their relationship with food and their bodies through therapeutic meals and supportive experiences like art-based and mindfulness sessions, including yoga and art therapy. For school-age patients, academic coordinators help maintain educational progress while treatment continues. The Emily Program operates in Minnesota, Washington, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia.
The Emily Program’s thorough eating disorder assessment is used to identify the most appropriate level of care for each patient. They provide a full continuum of services throughout the United States, including inpatient, residential, PHP/IOP, and outpatient programs, with in-person and virtual options offered at most locations. Inpatient care is the highest level of support and is frequently the starting point when medical stabilization is needed. Residential care supports individuals who are medically stable but require 24-hour behavioral and medical monitoring. Intensive programs (PHP/IOP) offer more structure and assistance than standard outpatient care, while still allowing more independence than 24/7 treatment. Outpatient care is the lowest level of service and is designed to help patients continue recovery with a supportive structure.
The Emily Program promotes a “Can Eat” culture, encouraging patients to reduce eating disorder behaviors through therapeutic, staff-supported meals and snacks. The program supports all foods and emphasizes the importance of avoiding food-related judgment. The in-person setting is welcoming and inclusive, and the multidisciplinary team is guided by a shared mission and a collaborative approach to care. Across all treatment levels, The Emily Program follows clinical best practices. The care approach is built to support patients at any point in their recovery journey and to help families and support systems develop practical skills for lasting change.
The Emily Program admissions team is available to help clients and their loved ones get started Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET, Fridays from 8:00 AM–7:30 PM ET, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.
