The Emily Program provides specialized treatment for eating disorders, focused on ensuring that everyone can access evidence-based care and the resources needed for sustained recovery. The Emily Program offers a full range of treatment options, from 24/7 inpatient services to outpatient care in multiple states. Programs can be delivered both in person and virtually. Multidisciplinary care teams work with individuals, families, and communities to build the knowledge and coping skills required to continue healing at home.
Beginning the recovery process can feel overwhelming. The Emily Program supports each patient where they are, helping them move forward step by step. The center delivers in-person and virtual eating disorder treatment with tailored programs for children, adolescents, and adults of all genders. The mission stays consistent: provide clients and their loved ones with the most effective treatment and the best opportunity for success. At The Emily Program, experienced professionals, including therapists, dietitians, and medical staff, address every part of this complex condition. Treatment commonly includes individual and group therapy centered on CBT, DBT, nutrition education, and skill-building. Patients learn more about their relationship with food and their bodies through therapeutic meals as well as sessions such as art therapy and mindfulness practices including yoga. For school-age patients, academic coordinators help maintain progress in education while treatment continues. The Emily Program serves locations in Minnesota, Washington, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia.
The Emily Program’s comprehensive assessment process is designed to place each person in the appropriate level of care. The center provides a complete continuum of services across the United States, including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs (PHP/IOP), and outpatient programming. Most locations offer both in-person and virtual options. Inpatient care is the highest level of service and is often the starting point when medical stabilization is required. Residential care is intended for individuals who are medically stable but need ongoing 24-hour behavioral and medical support. PHP/IOP programs offer more structure and clinical support than standard outpatient, while still allowing more independence than 24/7 care. Outpatient is the lowest level of care and offers a steady, supportive setting to help maintain recovery over time.
The Emily Program promotes a “Can Eat” Culture, encouraging patients to positively influence eating disorder behaviors through staff-supported therapeutic meals and snacks. The program emphasizes acceptance of all foods and a commitment to eliminating food-based judgment. In-person treatment is delivered in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere, and multidisciplinary staff bring a shared dedication to a community-based approach to care. The Emily Program applies clinical best practices across all levels of treatment. Its care approach is built to meet patients wherever they are in their recovery, regardless of life stage, while helping patients and their support systems develop skills that support lasting recovery.
The Emily Program admissions team is available to assist clients and their loved ones starting Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET, Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM ET, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
