About Pasadena Villa Outpatient

Situated on the north side of Charlotte, Pasadena Villa provides two tracks of treatment: partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP). The PHP program is designed as an option to help prevent the need for inpatient care, and it also supports a step-down transition from hospitalization or residential treatment. Participants can receive full-spectrum services, attending sessions for 6 hours a day, 5 days per week. The IOP is intended for clients whose symptoms are worsening or who are not improving with their current outpatient care. This program typically includes treatment for 3 hours a day, 3–5 days per week.

The clinical team focuses on anxiety, bipolar disorder, depressive disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring neurodivergent conditions. Care is delivered using evidence-based approaches alongside complementary therapies to support the whole person. Common treatment methods include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experiential techniques, mindfulness practices, yoga, nutrition therapy, and exposure and response prevention (ERP).

Pasadena Villa’s North Charlotte location also aims to improve access by offering IOP in person or via telehealth, with options available during the day or in the evening. The evening schedule runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 5 to 8 p.m., over an 8-week period.
