About Doves Nest Program
Situated on West 1st Street at the intersection with South Mint Street in the Wesley Heights neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina, Rebound provides a faith-centered residential recovery program for men aged 18 and above grappling with drug or alcohol dependence. This 120-day initiative is tailored for those who lack financial resources for treatment and are committed to making significant lifestyle changes. Rebound merges clinical substance abuse counseling with Christian principles, achieving a completion rate that is double the national average.
The program integrates the 12-Step methodology alongside weekly counseling sessions, group therapy, educational classes, and life skills development. Participants cultivate recovery techniques, enhance their support systems, and heal emotional trauma through biblical teachings. The well-organized environment assists them in managing triggers, comprehending addiction, and acquiring strategies to maintain sobriety while leading a stable and purposeful life.
Prospective residents are required to contact the center themselves to complete a screening interview prior to enrollment. Upon admission, they must successfully undergo a breathalyzer test, drug screening, and medical assessment. Residents are allowed to bring clothing, hygiene products, and approved medications, while items such as food, tobacco, electronics, and any alcohol-related products are prohibited to ensure a safe and focused recovery environment.
