About Charlotte Rescue Mission

Set in West Charlotte, this long-term residential program provides adult women in recovery with a structured, faith-based setting dedicated to sobriety and self-improvement. Over 120 days, residents take part in daily activities such as group and one-on-one counseling, instruction in practical life skills, and times for spiritual reflection.

A key feature of the program is its support for mothers whose children are ages 5–11. The children live on-site and receive their own therapeutic services. This family-oriented approach offers clinical care for the children to help them process the emotional impact of addiction while supporting healing alongside their mothers. Keeping families together helps reduce separation and strengthens the parent-child bond as both begin rebuilding stability and trust.

Women in the program participate in a consistent schedule that includes therapy sessions, educational groups, and peer support. The center also ensures a safe, substance-free environment and prohibits tobacco and vaping. With this clear structure, residents can remain engaged in treatment and committed to their recovery goals.
