About Pasadena Villa Outpatient Raleigh

Minutes from Research Triangle Park, the center provides two care pathways: partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). They also offer a virtual IOP for North Carolina clients in the evenings, from 5 to 8 pm. The PHP functions as a step toward preventing the need for inpatient care, and it can also be used to transition from hospitalization or residential treatment. With this option, clients receive the most comprehensive level of support—6 hours per day, 5 days per week. The IOP is designed for people whose symptoms are worsening or who are not making progress with their current treatment or outpatient services, offering 3 hours of care per day, 3 to 5 days per week.

The clinical team focuses on anxiety, bipolar disorder, depressive disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and co-occurring neurodivergent diagnoses. Their approach blends evidence-based therapeutic methods with complementary practices to address the whole individual. Services commonly include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experiential approaches, mindfulness, yoga, nutrition therapy, and exposure and response prevention (ERP). The program also highlights music therapy as a treatment option for mental health conditions.
