About Mountainside Huntington

Recovery from addiction often takes surprising turns, and at Mountainside Huntington clients can quickly access a complete range of addiction treatment options and support designed for both adolescents and adults. Mountainside was established in 1998 by a close group of friends who shared the same vision. They felt that pairing conventional treatment with holistic wellness approaches could strengthen and extend long-term recovery outcomes.

At Mountainside Huntington, clients can choose convenient morning or evening appointments and may receive medication-assisted detox (MAT), outpatient care, recovery coaching, and online counseling. Because no two people are alike, the center offers a full continuum of services focused on the mind, body, and spirit. Guided by its Integrative Model of Care, clients move through recovery in an orderly sequence, with a treatment plan tailored to their specific circumstances. A wide variety of evidence-informed therapies is available, and trained professionals work with each person to identify the most effective options. Services may include individual and group counseling, 12-Step facilitation, anger management, acupuncture, adventure therapy, expressive therapies, wellness-focused workshops, therapeutic art and writing, and more.

Mountainside also emphasizes that lasting recovery depends on a strong support system. The team collaborates with the client’s family and develops resources that help loved ones better understand addiction and what recovery involves.

With multiple locations across the Northeast, the Huntington, New York campus is convenient for residents in the New York City area. Mountainside is proud to maintain a 3.7 ASAM certification and to hold dual accreditation from CARF International and The Joint Commission, which places it among only a few addiction treatment programs in the nation to achieve both. In addition, clients may self-pay.
