About Cazenovia Manor

Caz Recovery Cazenovia Manor is a residential recovery program designed in a community-style setting for adult men dealing with substance use disorders and related co-occurring issues. Situated on Buffalo’s south side, it can accommodate up to 23 men and provides both intensive rehabilitation and transition support, including vocational counseling. The center focuses on serving adult men who are dependent on drugs or alcohol and who are either experiencing instability or are at risk of becoming homeless.

Caz Recovery tailors treatment for each client, helping establish personal recovery objectives and identifying the specific level of care needed. Stays typically range from a few weeks to several months or more, depending on the individual care plan. Alongside intensive substance abuse treatment, participants may take part in individual and family therapy and receive holistic, trauma-informed support. The program also includes daily life skills training, case management, and relapse prevention planning, with an emphasis on building self-sufficiency and promoting self-help.

Cazenovia Manor is wheelchair accessible and offers semi-private rooms, meals on-site, and a recreation area for supervised group activities. It is located along a major bus line and additional transportation options may be available. The program is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports and is supervised by the Erie County Department of Mental Health. Eligible individuals are men 18 and older who require intensive substance abuse treatment and are enrolled in a Medicaid Managed Care plan.
