About Acenda Vineland

Acenda Integrated Health, sometimes referred to simply as Acenda, is a nonprofit organization providing more than 100 behavioral health services across New Jersey. The center supports people of all ages as well as families, with a focus on serving those at risk. Acenda holds accreditation from the Joint Commission and the state of New Jersey.

Treatment at Acenda follows an evidence-based model. It combines widely used counseling approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), along with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and medication management. By addressing substance use cravings and mental health needs through medication when appropriate, clients can stay more engaged in therapy and improve their chances for long-term recovery. Most programs run about 12 to 16 weeks.

In addition to core therapies, Acenda also delivers specialized options when they fit the situation, including parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) and trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT). Services can be adapted for specific populations such as veterans, individuals with autism, pregnant women, and mothers with children up to age 3.

Clients can receive care at this physical site or through Acenda’s HIPAA-compliant telehealth video platform. The center offers both standard outpatient services and a more intensive outpatient (IOP) level of care, helping clients choose the amount of therapy they need each week while working around their schedules. This location is situated in an urban area of South Jersey.
