About Step2

STEP2 is a nonprofit treatment program based in Reno that serves women who are dealing with substance use disorder. Since 1986, it has offered a secure, encouraging setting and a treatment center built to help women in the community reach long-term sobriety and maintain it.

STEP2 delivers residential recovery services at a dedicated rehabilitation campus. Transitional housing is also provided so children can stay with their mothers while they receive treatment. For those who do not live on campus, the program offers outpatient services. In addition, STEP2 provides support for parenting and employment and offers education and resources aimed at helping prevent domestic violence.
