About Adult and Teen Challenge Missoula Women's Campus

Set just west of downtown Missoula and surrounded by scenic mountain views, the Adult and Teen Challenge Missoula Women’s Campus provides a Christ-centered approach to treatment for women dealing with substance use concerns. Established by David Wilkerson in 1960, the organization has grown to nearly 250 Adult and Teen Challenge centers in the United States and more than 1,000 worldwide in 95 countries. In the Pacific Northwest, Adult and Teen Challenge programs require a $500 intake fee, with no additional monthly charges for the rest of the program. The Missoula Women’s Campus runs for one year and can support up to 20 women.

The Bible-based curriculum emphasizes three key objectives: healing from the brokenness connected to substance use, restoring relationships through reconciliation with Jesus Christ and others, and pursuing lasting change grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ. During the program, participants take part in sermons, Bible study, prayer, spiritual retreats, and vocational training. Because Adult and Teen Challenge does not include medical staff, applicants must complete detox before admission. To support recovery, communication is restricted to immediate family, and electronic devices are not permitted. In line with the goal of helping participants work toward recovery from all substance use, smoking is prohibited.
