About Clementine St. Louis

Clementine is a specialized and high-touch program for adolescents of any gender, ages 11–17, who are working to overcome eating disorders. Clementine delivers advanced medical treatment and mental health support in a calm, home-like environment that prioritizes comfort and privacy. The program targets a wide range of eating disorder concerns, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, compulsive overeating, ARFID, OSFED, exercise addiction, and diabulimia. Care is delivered through one-on-one counseling, daily group sessions, and family therapy, helping participants build healthier eating routines and work through related mental health and behavioral challenges. In addition, the center provides treatment support for depression, anxiety, personality disorders, substance use, PTSD, and trauma.

For many adolescents, eating disorders often become tightly connected to academic performance and perfectionistic expectations. To address this, one of Clementine’s main goals is to integrate educational support into the overall therapeutic approach. Each participant receives a customized education plan with dedicated tutoring and instruction provided on-site.

Clementine in St Louis also offers a dedicated family program designed to involve caregivers throughout treatment. This includes multi-family group meetings, weekly family therapy, nutritional education, and a parent-focused education group. Families may also join cooking classes and receive nutrition guidance as part of the program.

During their stay, adolescents can use on-site spaces such as the yoga studio and the education and art rooms, and they can participate in cooking activities. The center provides shared rooms within a warm, home-like setting. Clementine St. Louis also organizes engaging activities on campus, including jewelry making, pottery, dance classes, games, movement sessions, and movie nights. Participants may also go on supervised outings such as trips to restaurants and grocery stores, museum visits, or bowling.
