About The Heights
The Heights provides a structured 60 to 90 day residential program for adult women who are working through addiction, trauma, and mental health concerns that occur alongside substance use. Built as a women-only environment, the center offers a secure setting where healing can take place. It supports women who may be facing urgent situations, including legal challenges or medical crises, and who need both immediate structure and sustained recovery guidance.
Treatment is based on trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. The program combines individual counseling and group sessions, relapse prevention planning, and case management. Staff collaborate with each resident to create a tailored roadmap aimed at building sobriety, long-term stability, and a realistic path forward. Education for families and participation in nearby recovery activities help strengthen relationships and support systems during treatment and after discharge.
Women stay in a safe facility on Jackson Street, where shared rooms, clean bathrooms, and daily meals are provided. For visits, there is a kid-friendly area to make family time easier. With consistent routines, supportive connections, and a strong community atmosphere, the program is designed to encourage lasting progress. The center accepts insurance, private payment, and government funding.
