About Central Minnesota Mental Health Center Withdrawal Management

Central Minnesota Mental Health Center’s Withdrawal Management program delivers clinically supervised, research-informed withdrawal care for opioids, alcohol, stimulants, and other substances. The program begins with comprehensive detoxification, followed by medication and nursing support designed to help people discontinue substance use, ease withdrawal symptoms, and connect with essential resources that support long-term recovery.

Clients remain in the program for at least 72 hours. During this period, a team of experienced clinical and nursing professionals conducts ongoing evaluations and delivers therapeutic services. The center provides individual assessments and diagnoses by a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, offers group therapy, and coordinates care across needed services. Peer support is also available through non-clinical specialists.
