About Will Work For Recovery

In North Minneapolis, Will Work for Recovery provides recovery coaching tailored for adults dealing with drug addiction, including opioid dependence, as well as related mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. The program is designed to support people on their path to sobriety through a caring, whole-person approach that addresses healing for both the mind and the body.

Will Work for Recovery combines spiritual guidance with supportive community and social activities to strengthen the recovery process. Peer support, group events, classes and recreation, yoga, nutrition, and exercise sessions help participants rebuild stability and take back control of their lives. Together, these activities promote physical health, emotional resilience, and mental clarity, making the journey toward recovery more sustainable.

Once a person completes the initial recovery phase, Will Work for Recovery helps them move into employment. Assistance includes help with job searching, resume preparation, and computer skills education, which supports a smoother return to work and encourages long-term, fulfilling independence.
