About Progress Valley 2

Progress Valley provides full-spectrum care for substance use and mental health concerns in a caring residential environment. With 48 beds in a mixed-gender program at PV2 in Bloomington, Minnesota, the center focuses on individualized treatment. Clients can access one-on-one and group counseling, psychoeducational programming, and medical support, with an overall mission to help people build the skills and routines needed to overcome addiction and sustain recovery over the long term. Services are shaped around each person’s needs, including peer recovery support, family-focused resources, and life skills workshops. A 24/7 team of licensed counselors, mental health therapists, and nurses is on hand throughout the program. The treatment approach is LGBTQ-inclusive, addresses gender-specific considerations, and uses input from others with lived recovery experience to ensure care is truly person-centered. Progress Valley also assists with discharge planning and smooth handoffs to ongoing treatment. After residential care, individuals may transition to outpatient services, sober living options, or intensive outpatient programs that include lodging. The organization maintains an alumni network to promote continued connection and encouragement, helping clients stay supported as they adjust to life in recovery and receive continuous care across every stage.
