About Fellowship Recovery Minneapolis

Fellowship Recovery provides outpatient support for adults dealing with substance use and mental health conditions that occur at the same time. Services are structured to meet ASAM Level 1 (Outpatient) and Level 2.1 (Intensive Outpatient) needs, so clients receive consistent programming while still being able to stay at home and handle work and other daily responsibilities. Programming includes group meetings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., along with a separate evening schedule from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Minneapolis location.

At Fellowship Recovery’s Minneapolis site, the focus is largely on single adults, individuals who are justice-involved, and people with medical cannabis prescriptions. The center is located near the Midtown Greenway and along major bus lines, making it convenient for individuals coming from South Minneapolis and surrounding areas.

The St. Louis Park location is designed for parents with children and includes daytime programming that better matches typical family schedules. It is situated in a calmer residential area close to parks and schools, creating a setting that feels more centered on family life.

Both locations are in areas with good walkability and public transit access, and telehealth is also available to help clients continue treatment between in-person appointments.

Fellowship Recovery incorporates evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), along with holistic supports intended to strengthen long-term recovery. Care typically includes both individual and group therapy, with attention to trauma, emotional regulation, and family relationships. The clinical team also offers mental health counseling aimed at improving coping skills and managing co-occurring conditions.

Clients can access 12-step facilitation, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol use disorders, and licensed mental health therapy. The center also provides case management to assist with housing, employment, and legal-related needs.
