About Saginaw Odyssey House Inc
Saginaw Odyssey House is a private, nonprofit rehabilitation center that supports people who struggle with substance use disorders (SUD) or co-occurring mental health conditions through day treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient services. Based on the therapeutic community approach, the program provides a structured setting with clear moral and ethical expectations, encouraging accountability and mutual encouragement among peers. The center welcomes individuals of all backgrounds and also offers treatment beyond Saginaw, including services in Port Huron and Flint, to broaden access to care throughout Michigan.
Inside the program, clients learn coping strategies, address relapse risks, and strengthen their support networks in a secure, inclusive environment. Treatment plans are developed with respect and tailored to individual needs. Financial barriers are not used to exclude people from care—Saginaw Odyssey House uses a sliding fee scale that considers income and household size, helping ensure quality services are available to more individuals and families.
