About ITRS Outpatient
Located on South Waverly Road in Lansing, Michigan, the Wellness Counseling Center provides outpatient services for adults dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and similar issues. Its convenient location near Scott Sunken Garden makes it accessible via major roadways and public transportation. The program typically spans six to twelve months, allowing adults to focus on their emotional well-being through personalized treatment plans created by experienced mental health professionals.
The center employs a person-centered approach in its care, utilizing various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused therapies. Clients can also take advantage of additional services such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing (MI), and health coaching as needed. These approaches are designed to alleviate emotional distress, enhance resilience, and facilitate adaptation to health-related obstacles. Depending on individual requirements, case management and family counseling may also be offered.
