About The Dawn Rehab

The Dawn Wellness Centre and Rehab Thailand is widely recognised as one of Asia’s foremost wellness and treatment destinations, located in a calm riverside setting. The Dawn is currently the only residential facility in Asia with international accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

The Dawn provides structured, all-encompassing programmes for addiction and mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD. Using an innovative treatment roadmap, the centre delivers a holistic, individualised plan designed to support lasting recovery.

Care at The Dawn combines a range of evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (TF-CBT), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). In addition, clients benefit from wellness-focused approaches including yoga, meditation, massage therapy and physical training, supporting both emotional well-being and physical health throughout the recovery process. This integrated model helps clients build practical skills for sustainable change and improved overall wellness.

The Dawn’s holistic method looks beyond immediate symptoms to explore the drivers behind a client’s current challenges, including unresolved experiences, relationships, home environment, and family dynamics. The centre places particular focus on untreated or buried trauma, which often lies at the root of addiction and a range of mental health concerns.

Clients are supported in a friendly, reassuring atmosphere where staff respond closely to each person’s individual needs. The team considers not only the concerns that bring someone to The Dawn, but also who they are and how their life is shaped as a whole. Working with a multidisciplinary group of Western-trained therapists and a low client-to-staff ratio, the centre can devote full attention to selecting the approaches that fit each client best. A 24-hour on-site nursing team is available to assist clients during detox and throughout residential care, prioritising safety and comfort.

The Dawn also operates a dedicated mental health programme that is separate from its addiction services, supporting individuals whose mental health difficulties are not linked to substance use. When a person presents with both addiction and co-occurring disorders, The Dawn can transition them smoothly between the relevant programmes. For treatment-resistant conditions, the centre offers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy, an FDA-approved option.

The Dawn provides an Addiction Relapse Warranty policy. After completing 12 weeks of treatment for drug or alcohol addiction, clients can return for a further 28 days of residential aftercare at no extra cost if relapse occurs within one year.
