About Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities Leominster Women's Program in Leominster, Massachusetts supports women in addressing substance use and mental health difficulties. The center runs a voluntary residential option lasting 3 to 6 months. Residents have access to registered nurses and psychiatric services on-site, with the goal of helping each woman build sobriety and long-term stability.

Participants receive a structured plan that includes weekly meetings with counselors, required clinical group sessions, and daily peer self-help gatherings to strengthen community and accountability. Treatment is tailored to individual needs, focusing on sustainable recovery and wellness. A psychiatric assessment is required within 48 hours after admission. The program also highlights responsibility in daily life by involving residents in household chores and care of their living environment, along with guidance and conversations about legal matters, health, family, and career objectives.
