About Gosnold Treatment Center
Gosnold Treatment Center is a detoxification facility with 50 beds that provides medically supervised withdrawal care for people with substance use disorders. Most patients remain in treatment for about 4 to 8 days, during which a range of medications is used to manage withdrawal symptoms, reduce discomfort, and help prevent complications. The program is coordinated by an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, counselors, case managers, and recovery aides.
Daily activities feature morning educational sessions, along with both one-on-one and group counseling, and recovery support meetings following the 12-Step model held on-site each evening. In addition to Gosnold Treatment Center, other Gosnold programs include step-down options such as residential services, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP), as well as sober living arrangements.
