TruHealing Gaithersburg is a full-scale treatment program designed for people dealing with both mental health concerns and substance use disorders. The center provides partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient therapy, using approaches that are research-informed and supported by strong clinical evidence. In the PHP level, clients can receive up to 30 hours each week of individual and group counseling, and then transition to a less intensive level of care.
The intensive outpatient program works well for those who have finished the PHP program or for individuals who need ongoing support at a lower intensity. Participants attend structured 3-hour sessions three days per week for a period of 30 to 60 days. TruHealing Gaithersburg also offers outpatient therapy to help clients build practical coping skills and effective tools for long-term recovery.
TruHealing Gaithersburg understands that stable, supportive housing can play a key role in treatment progress for those managing mental health conditions. The program helps clients access community supportive housing to strengthen outcomes and foster healthy connections while developing skills that support continued improvement. Supportive living options provide a home-like atmosphere with added structure and safety. In addition, TruHealing Gaithersburg provides aftercare services, education for clients, and a variety of wellness resources, including 12-Step participation for co-dependency and addiction when it is appropriate.
