About Grace House for Women

Grace House for Women was created by Sarah Coupe, who is also working through her own recovery and has used the 12-Step program to stop repeating behavioral and emotional patterns linked to addiction. Sarah saw how important structured support can be for women, and she opened Grace House, named in honor of her daughter. Grace House is licensed to provide ASAM 3.1 level care as a substance use treatment facility. The center accepts MaineCare and provides a consistent schedule and activities focused on the 12-Step process. The home includes two dogs that help offer therapeutic companionship and support to the women living there.
