About Merrimack River Medical Services
Health Care Resource Centers (HCRC), previously known as Community Substance Abuse Centers, focuses on care for substance use disorders and provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Treatment is delivered using methadone and buprenorphine for opioid addiction. The center maintains a supportive, respectful atmosphere and delivers individualized services designed around each person’s specific needs. HCRC Lewiston also provides additional support services.
The treatment center operates Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 1:30pm. Medication services are available Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 12pm, with Saturday hours from 6am to 9am.
People who have MaineCare may qualify for free transportation to their clinic.
