About Groups Recover Together

Located just a 2-minute walk from Biddeford City Theater in the heart of downtown, and about 15 minutes on foot from the Saco train station, this outpatient center is easy to reach and well connected. As one of 15 locations across Maine, it offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction. In-person services are available Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 7:00pm, with the center closed Friday through Sunday.

Care is based on proven treatment methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). These therapies help clients work through trauma, manage anger, and strengthen relapse prevention strategies, supporting emotional wellbeing and sustained recovery. The center also provides education on substance use, discharge planning, aftercare coordination, and sign language support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Intake specialists are on hand 24/7 to answer questions and help clients schedule appointments online at a time that fits their needs.
