About Round Lake Alcohol and Drug Treatment Society
Round Lake Treatment Center offers residential motivational experiential counseling for either 42 or 39 days. This program is designed for individuals who have not yet fully recovered from the physical effects of drugs and alcohol, do not need detox, and are emotionally stable enough to participate in counseling without psychiatric care. Treatment at Round Lake focuses on helping clients take ownership of their choices while learning to recognize their own value and future potential. The program combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and sensorimotor approaches. Many parts of the treatment are delivered in a group format, giving clients a structured way to connect with peers, build supportive relationships, and learn healthier ways to communicate and participate in a community.
Round Lake Treatment Center also emphasizes trauma-informed care, where a safe and encouraging environment is essential. The Recovery Lodge is set in a natural setting, creating an immediate feeling of calm. Clients can take advantage of beautiful surroundings, a gym, a library, nutritious meals, and planned opportunities for local sightseeing and shopping. Transportation to scheduled activities and required appointments is provided as well. The residential treatment daily rate is $200.00 CDN. For First Nations clients, services are funded through the First Nations Health Authority.
