About Morton Center

The Morton Center is dedicated to helping people rebuild their lives and protecting families through education, ongoing support, and clinical treatment delivered in a trauma-informed way. The center provides care for substance use disorders and also addresses mental health concerns that may occur at the same time, offering targeted services for adults as well as age-appropriate mental health support for children and teenagers. Programs include intensive outpatient services for adults and adolescents, individual and group therapy, family counseling, and medication-assisted treatment. Appointments are available both as walk-ins and through telehealth.

For children ages 5 and older, The Morton Center offers therapy and support without requiring a parent or caregiver to be present during sessions. Services are designed to match developmental needs and may include art therapy, play therapy, and sand tray therapy, giving children a safe space to understand and express their feelings while healing. Caregiver consultations are also provided, helping adults gain practical strategies to support children’s emotional well-being at home.

The Morton Center provides specialized programming for adolescents ages 12 to 18, including early intervention to help address substance use concerns before they worsen. The center also conducts assessments to determine the most suitable level of care and to identify any co-occurring mental health needs. Treatment options include 1-on-1 therapy, family therapy, and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). The adolescent IOP runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8:30 PM and includes group therapy, psychoeducation, and peer support.

Adults receive outpatient services that include an IOP designed to support recovery while allowing individuals to continue work and family responsibilities. This IOP meets Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. The center also offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. Aftercare includes recovery support groups facilitated by therapists to help adults stay engaged and maintain progress within a supportive community. Medication-assisted treatment is available for adults with opioid use disorder, using options such as suboxone, vivitrol, and methadone.
