About Louisville Recovery Center
Louisville Recovery Center provides treatment for adults dealing with substance use disorders of various types. People considering care are encouraged to contact the admissions team to ask questions and receive help identifying the level of support that fits best. After an initial decision is made, clients work closely with a multidisciplinary group to design an individualized treatment plan based on their goals and needs. Following that, clients begin attending the center for services that may include a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), or an aftercare program.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, Louisville Recovery takes a holistic view of recovery. Holistic care may involve medication management, evidence-based therapies focused on mental health, and family therapy aimed at rebuilding relationships. Clients may also participate in breathwork and meditation to support nervous system healing, equine therapy to strengthen confidence and improve emotional regulation, eye movement therapy (EMDR) to help process trauma, or dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to build practical coping skills.
Louisville Recovery also recognizes that men and women often experience different challenges, particularly in the context of addiction treatment. The center offers gender-specific programming so that men and women can address co-occurring disorders, challenge stigma, and overcome obstacles to sobriety within a supportive community of individuals who understand.
