Cedar Grove Recovery emphasizes aftercare by offering a recovery coach program designed to last one year. The recovery coach helps clients move from the structured, professional environment to a self-guided recovery routine. Clients also meet weekly for 1-on-1 coaching using a supportive curriculum, and recovery coaches are available around the clock for crisis support and intervention.

The Louisville, Kentucky campus is designed to feel safe and comfortable. Clients can use an on-site gym and are encouraged to exercise about five days per week. The center also organizes sober community activities such as movie nights, hiking trips, and campfire gatherings. Following a 7-day blackout period, clients may speak with a therapist for 15 minutes each week.

After a 10-day blackout period, clients are allowed two visitors per week on Fridays, with visiting times from 3 to 5. Visitors must attend at the same time and be at least 13 years old.

For intensive outpatient care, Cedar Grove Recovery offers sessions Tuesdays through Thursdays, either from 9 a.m. to noon or from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. IOP meetings take place in the fireplace room, which has a separate entrance on the far-left side of the building.
