About Beacon House Aftercare Program Inc
Since 1997, Beacon House has provided men with a stable, supportive setting as they work toward long-term sobriety. Serving individuals who are recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, the center follows a transitional living approach. Residents are connected with intensive outpatient services, life skills instruction, and peer-based encouragement, helping them build the tools needed for independence and sustained recovery.
Beacon House runs a tightly structured, abstinence-oriented program that includes daily 12-step meetings, on-site case management, and peer-led group support. Most residents remain for about 6 to 18 months, during which they participate in therapy, IOP, and aftercare planning. The program is known for combining clear expectations, meaningful community involvement, and individualized support to help recovery continue well after treatment ends.
At Beacon House, residents live in a shared-room environment with space for three men, with each room equipped with beds, dressers, and basic essentials. The center also features a full kitchen, laundry area, gym, and recreation space to make daily life easier. For newcomers, a curfew of 11 p.m. is enforced for the first 30 days, after which curfews are adjusted on weekends. Visitors are permitted during approved hours, and weekend passes may be earned after 30 days. Overall, the facility is designed to promote healing while maintaining a balance between personal freedom and accountability.
