About Pillars of Wellness
This initiative benefits the Valparaiso community by offering counseling in a welcoming environment that is designed to be sensory-friendly. It follows a systemic model, recognizing each person as part of wider family and community systems. The clinicians work with individuals, partners, and families, assisting children, adolescents, and adults as they move through their mental health concerns.
Pillars of Wellness provides individual counseling, marital or couples therapy, and play therapy for children. The team supports a broad spectrum of mental health needs, helping clients address issues such as depression, trauma, challenges related to maternal mental health, and ongoing family stress. Therapists help clients build insight and coping skills through many different life situations.
Pillars of Wellness also offers adaptable services, including virtual sessions through its wider network. For scheduling convenience, the practice provides weekday evening appointments from 4 to 9 p.m., alongside standard daytime hours, and some clinicians are available on select weekends.
