About Turning Point System of Care

Turning Point supports individuals dealing with substance use, mental health concerns, and difficult emotional situations such as depression, anxiety, and parenting-related stress. The center provides detox, outpatient therapy, and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults and youth. A key focus is maintaining a secure, friendly environment where healing can start and meaningful recovery is achievable for everyone.

Care at Turning Point is grounded in compassion, encouragement from peers, and trauma-informed treatment. Clients can participate in individual, family, and group counseling, and they also have access to peer recovery coaches. These coaches are trained people who have personal experience with overcoming addiction and mental health challenges. They guide clients with hope, help set practical goals, teach coping skills, and connect them with community resources, offering support that feels both real and motivating at every stage of recovery.

In addition, Turning Point offers special programs such as Recovery Café and Rapid Access. Recovery Café provides a sense of belonging along with meals, educational activities, and opportunities for personal growth. Rapid Access assists with important needs including help obtaining ID cards, information related to housing, clothing, and other essentials. With these added services, each person can receive the assistance necessary to move forward in life.
