About Family Ark
Family Ark collaborates with the Department of Children’s Services (DCS) to deliver essential supports for children and their families. The center works with trusted adults in the community to help children who are in need find stable, nurturing homes. Family Ark also offers a comprehensive behavioral health program that includes case management, clinical assessments and evaluations, and therapeutic counseling addressing both mental health needs and substance use disorders.
Located on 83 acres of scenic, natural wetlands, Family Ark’s behavioral health campus features walking trails, a barn, and expansive open areas. Experienced clinicians provide medication management, counseling, outpatient treatment for substance use, and diagnostic services. The center also operates a sober living home named Lotus, designed for mothers who need housing while receiving care for substance use disorders. Additionally, its intensive outpatient program serves women who have experienced trauma and face both substance use and mental health challenges. Clinicians in this program incorporate holistic approaches such as art, yoga, and mindfulness to strengthen and enrich the overall treatment process.
