About LifeStance Health Greenwood

LifeStance Health operates in multiple locations and brings together a national team of licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and nurse practitioners to deliver care for mental health and substance use challenges through both in-person and secure virtual private sessions. Services are designed to address issues such as mental illness, process addictions, grief and major life changes, postpartum depression, and more. The center also offers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), an option often used when depression does not improve with other treatments or medications.

At LifeStance, clients work with highly rated clinicians who provide support for individuals across the lifespan, using customized treatment plans based on each person’s needs. Care is available for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. The center also treats substance use disorders involving drugs or alcohol, along with process addictions such as eating disorders and hoarding. Support is additionally offered for adolescents who struggle with school avoidance. Specialized and gender-specific care is available as well, including programs focused on men’s or women’s concerns, pain management, somatoform disorders, psychosis, postpartum depression or anxiety, couples counseling, grief support, insomnia, and behavioral challenges in children.

Personalized care at LifeStance is coordinated by a multidisciplinary team of board-certified providers and social workers. Treatment plans may incorporate approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, solution-focused therapy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Depending on the situation, other research-backed interventions such as narrative therapy and play therapy may be used, particularly for younger clients.

Depending on the needs of the client, services can include adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry or therapy, group sessions, or family therapy. The center also supports new parents dealing with adjustment difficulties, mental health symptoms, or sleep-related concerns. Alongside therapy, LifeStance provides neuropsychological testing, psychological testing, and assessments.

Full mental health services are offered Monday through Friday, five days a week, in both virtual and in-person formats. LifeStance Health accepts many major insurance plans.
