Farrington Specialty Centers Fort Wayne supports adults and adolescents ages 14 and older who are dealing with anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), binge eating disorder (BED), avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), other specified eating disorder (OSFED), rumination, compulsive exercise, and related eating disorder or body image challenges. The center provides outpatient care, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs. Treatment is individualized and grounded in evidence-based practices, with a trauma-informed approach and a weight-inclusive lens.
Farrington’s PHP, known as Neossia, runs 5 days per week for 7.5 hours each day. It delivers a high level of structure for people who are medically stable but need comprehensive support. The program includes daily therapy and nutrition groups, individual meetings with therapists and dietitians twice a week, and weekly appointments with medical and psychiatric professionals. Clients also participate in experiential activities such as yoga, dance, and movement-based therapies. PHP continues for as long as each participant needs it.
The IOP is offered 3 days a week, with sessions lasting about 3 hours, typically over 6 to 8 weeks. This program features daily therapy groups, weekly nutrition groups, a family day, practical nutrition counseling and skill-building, and experiential therapies.
For those in standard outpatient care, sessions are available individually, in group settings, and with family involvement. Farrington adjusts the timing and frequency of outpatient visits based on each client’s specific needs.
In addition, Farrington offers add-on art therapy at its Indy clinic. The art therapy program meets in a group setting for 6 weeks, with groups arranged according to clients’ preferences, goals, concerns, and their prior experience with art therapy.
Also confirm the facility is licensed by Indiana. If you are withdrawing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, ask about medical detox; do not stop suddenly on your own.
Farrington Specialty Centers Fort Wayne did not report which payment types it accepts. If you have Medicaid, ask whether the facility accepts your Indiana Medicaid plan or can refer you to one that does. Most private plans must cover substance use treatment on terms comparable to other medical care under federal parity law.
