About LifeStance Health Evansville

LifeStance Health operates across multiple locations and offers care through a national network of licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, and nurse practitioners. Services are available as private in-person or virtual therapy for many types of mental health and substance use conditions. Their programs address issues such as mental illness, process addictions, grief and major life changes, postpartum depression, and more. They are also well prepared to provide transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), an option commonly used when depression does not improve with other treatments or medications.

LifeStance works with highly regarded clinicians who focus on a broad range of concerns and create individualized treatment plans for clients of all ages. Treatment is available for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma-related issues, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. They also help people struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, as well as process addictions such as eating disorders and hoarding. Services for adolescents may include support for school avoidance, and specialized care is available for both women and men, along with areas such as pain management, somatoform disorders, psychosis, postpartum depression or anxiety, couples counseling, grief support, insomnia, and childhood behavioral challenges.

At LifeStance, personalized care is guided by a multidisciplinary team of board-certified professionals and social workers working together to coordinate treatment. Plans may involve evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, solution-focused therapy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Depending on age and needs, additional evidence-based methods like narrative therapy and play therapy may be incorporated for children and adolescents.

Patients and families can access adult psychiatry services, child and adolescent therapy or psychiatry, and group or family sessions when appropriate. New parents who are adjusting to a life transition and may be experiencing mental health concerns or sleep difficulties can also receive support. Beyond therapy, LifeStance provides neuropsychological testing, psychological testing, and evaluations. Full mental health services are offered Monday through Friday, five days a week, both virtually and in person, and LifeStance accepts most major insurance plans.
