About Rosecrance Inc
Set on 50 picturesque acres in Rockford, Illinois, Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus is a residential treatment facility for adolescents and young adults, ages 12 to 20, who are dealing with substance use disorders and other mental health challenges. Rosecrance Griffin delivers residential services as well as partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient care (IOP). For individuals age 16 and older, the campus also provides medically supervised detox.
Treatment at Rosecrance Griffin is designed to fit each person’s needs and follows an outcomes-driven model. The program is rooted in the 12-Step approach, complemented by evidence-based therapies including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), group counseling, family sessions, and a variety of experiential supports. Clients may also participate in art and music therapy, recreational programming, and horticulture-based activities.
For most residents, the stay is typically around 30 days. Programming includes group counseling six days per week, along with a minimum of two individual counseling sessions and one family session each week.
The Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus spans about 67,000 square feet and includes space for up to 80 residents. The main lodge-style building features open-beam rafters and views of the healing garden, complete with a natural stone waterfall, large boulders, and a pond with fish. Clients also have access to walking paths, an outdoor lounge, an indoor basketball court, and a spacious gymnasium.
