About Footprints Recovery IL
Footprints to Recovery Illinois offers outpatient care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and Day Treatment programs (PHP). The center supports men and women in northwest Chicago and nearby communities who are dealing with substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions. While detox is not provided at the facility, Footprints to Recovery Illinois can connect clients with a partner detox program when needed. Outpatient services are the least intensive option, typically requiring 3 hours per day for 1 to 2 days each week. IOP programs usually involve 3 hours daily, 3 to 5 days a week, and PHP typically runs 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. Treatment includes both one-on-one and group therapy, using evidence-based methods. Available approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), 12-Step facilitation, and medication-assisted treatment. They also incorporate complementary activities such as yoga, Tai Chi, and art therapy.
In addition, Footprints to Recovery Illinois provides select specialty groups and services, including a stand-up comedy group, help with job search and resume building, and life skills training. Footprints to Recovery Illinois is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicaid.
