About Symetria Recovery

Symetria Recovery provides a full range of outpatient rehabilitation services through the Symetria Method®. They support people struggling with addictions such as benzodiazepines, codeine, fentanyl, heroin, hydrocodone, opioids, oxycodone, and other prescription medications. Their distinctive program for opioid dependence blends medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and all services are delivered in an outpatient format. Operating as a dual-diagnosis facility, Symetria coordinates medication management, counseling, and relapse-prevention planning in one place. Clients can meet with the clinical team to review treatment options and identify the medication or medication combinations that fit their needs. Symetria offers Methadone, Vivitrol, and Suboxone, and its intensive outpatient program (IOP) includes ongoing individual counseling and group sessions held multiple times each week. The goal at Symetria Recovery is to help more people achieve sobriety in a respectful, non-judgmental setting, with no waitlist.

Symetria Recovery serves clients in Illinois and Texas. The Des Plaines location is located just west of the Des Plaines River and north of O’Hare Airport. Clients can feel confident they are receiving evidence-based care designed to work. Based on statistics led by Harvard, Symetria is reported to be 80% more likely than any other clinic or rehab in the state to help clients stop using drugs permanently.
