About Freedom

Freedom focuses on treating addiction and the emotional roots that drive it, working with only one client at a time. Care is tailored to each person’s needs and goals. Over a 4-week-plus stay, clients receive regular clinical sessions with their psychologist and addiction therapist, structured daily wellness and exercise activities, and thoughtfully planned outings to places such as Bali temples, rice terraces, and other natural highlights.

Freedom’s mission is to help clients move beyond past hurt, deliver real and effective addiction treatment, support the development of healthier habits now, and help create a confident path toward a more rewarding future.

The team at Freedom includes masters-level specialists: a psychologist, addiction therapists, and an on-call psychiatrist. Additional support comes from a yoga teacher, care staff, and skilled chefs. Clients meet with their psychologist three times per week and with their addiction therapist twice weekly. The program also includes educational sessions covering addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and practical coping strategies. Freedom’s Seven Pillars of self-care are used to put newly learned skills and tools into everyday life.

Program support starts with a medical assessment and detox medications when needed. Freedom combines evidence-based and holistic approaches to identify and work through the trauma connected to addiction. Evidence-based methods include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and internal family systems therapy. Clients may also participate in yoga, art therapy, and meditation.

At Freedom, clients stay in a private villa with a pool, and a dedicated team is available 24/7. Transportation is fully arranged, including VIP airport transfers. Daily wellness activities are personalized and may include surfing, spa services, horseback riding, breathwork, and more. During weekends, clients have the opportunity to explore Bali. A comprehensive transition plan is provided at the end of treatment, including relapse prevention guidance and three additional months of follow-up check-ins after residential care.
