About Centers for Cognitive Wellness Chicago

Situated opposite Millenium Park along Michigan Avenue, Centers for Cognitive Wellness provides both telehealth and face-to-face evaluations and care for a range of neurological and mental health needs. Services include support for movement disorders, traumatic brain injury (TBI), ADHD, long COVID, concerns with memory, stroke, dementia, depression, anxiety, trauma, and caregiver stress. The center accepts Medicare, many major private insurance plans, and out-of-network insurance.

Centers for Cognitive Wellness uses a strength-based neuropsychology model, with the view that adult brains can continue to develop and adapt. The team offers neuropsychological assessments that examine cognitive abilities such as attention, language, memory, and behavior. Treatment can also involve psychotherapy, using evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-oriented therapy. In addition, Centers for Cognitive Wellness provides cognitive rehabilitation to help clients strengthen thinking skills and maintain independence, particularly when cognition is affected by conditions such as ADHD.

Convenient access is available for those using public transit, with the Washington and Wabash subway station nearby and multiple bus routes serving Washington and Wabash as well as Michigan and Washington. Patients who drive can use paid parking at the Grant Park North Garage, located about a two-minute walk from the office.
