About Clarvida
Clarvida Behavioral Health in Boise provides outpatient mental health and behavioral services for people of all ages. The center supports a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, autism spectrum disorders, early psychosis, co-occurring conditions, and serious mental illness. Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team that includes therapists, peer specialists, nurses, and care managers, working together to design treatment around each individual’s personal goals.
Clarvida uses a trauma-informed, research-supported model of care, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Specialized services are available through programs such as Early Serious Mental Illness (ESMI), Youth Empowerment Services (YES), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). The IOP combines structured individual, group, and family therapy for teens ages 13–18 and adults ages 19 and older, emphasizing coping skills, stronger communication, and greater independence. Referrals are required, and care can be provided in person or via telehealth based on what each person needs.
In addition to counseling, Clarvida offers case management, peer and family support, respite services, and behavioral interventions for youth. Treatment Foster Care is also available for children with emotional or behavioral challenges. The center works with multiple insurance options, including Medicaid, and provides income-based payment choices to help make treatment more accessible.
